About Me
As a professional, I am a person who seeks out learning and responsibility. I love to learn new technologies just for the fun of it! I love to take ownership of my work as it gives me a sense of satisfaction.
My favorite programming language is 'std::out << "I love C++" << std::endl;'. I have hands-on experience with Python, Javascript, MySQL, PHP, Perl, Git, and Android via either personal/academic projects or my prior employment at Tata Research (TRDDC).
I came to the United States to pursue Masters in Computer Science because I wanted to learn more about the current trends in technology such as Artificial Intelligence and also dive deeper into core CS subjects such as Data Structures, Database Management, and Operating Systems which I enjoy a lot.
My dream company will be the one where my work leads to tangible outcomes, where I can take ownership of my work, and continuously learn while creating world-class products, making people's lives easier. I firmly believe in making the world a better place by helping others, and hence a company that cares about diversity, women in tech, and giving back to society will be an ideal one for me.
If you know me as a friend, you will find me as someone who loves humor and is humorous. Some of the things I love to do during my leisure are travel, casual photography, watch movies/series, and paint.
Some of my favorite series are Iron Man, Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes from Hollywood, and from Bollywood I love the movies Ittefaq, Badla, and Andhadhun. Many more as well, because I am a bit indecisive about the things that I love, usually there are many!
By love to paint, I meant "Paint by Numbers" of course! ;)
Internationally, I have traveled to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Canada, Dubai, and Switzerland. [Thanks to my dad for all of it] :)

Ping-A-Job
Currently developing on application to ease the process of managing job applications and staying motivated to consistently apply for positions that a person is interested in.
Database Management System
Developed a Relational databased management system using C++ from scratch.
Key learnings: Object oriented designing, debugging with gdb and working with binary files.
